NDG Leaders Toastmasters Club Hosts a Successful Area 61 Speech Contest, Celebrates Second and Third Place Wins

Montreal, QC — October 27, 2025 — The NDG Leaders Toastmasters Club proudly hosted the Toastmasters District 61 Secteur 61 Area Speech Contests / Concours de discours on Thursday, October 16, 2025.


The event united passionate speakers, devoted volunteers, and enthusiastic guests, creating an evening that celebrated public speaking and leadership excellence.

The contests showcased talented communicators in both English and French Table Topics, as well as the highly anticipated International Speech category.

French Table Topics Contest

The NDG Leaders Toastmasters Club congratulates all participants for their inspiring speeches and competitive spirit.


The club extends special recognition to its members Jeff Wilgus, Justin Nantais, and Vivian Yang for their outstanding performances and dedication to growth and leadership.

Winners from the Area contests will advance to the Division-level stage. Table Topics finalists will compete at Boostez Votre Confiance – Day of Confidence-Building 2025 on Saturday, November 29, 2025, and International Speech winners will move on to the District 61 Annual Conference.


The NDG Leaders Toastmasters Club celebrates this achievement as another step in empowering members to develop communication skills, build confidence, and inspire others throughout the District 61 community.
