Last night was a wonderful evening of celebration, recognition, and inspiration at NDG Leader Toastmasters. Meetings like these remind us why Toastmasters is such a powerful environment for personal and professional growth.

We were honored to welcome our Area Director, Daniel Gélinas, who joined us for the evening and delivered an inspiring speech. His message highlighted the many opportunities Toastmasters offers beyond club roles, encouraging members to look at leadership, mentorship, and service opportunities available throughout the organization.

Celebrating Member Achievements

One of the highlights of the evening was recognizing members who reached important milestones in the Pathways learning program. These achievements represent dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to developing stronger communication and leadership skills.

Congratulations to the following members:

Level 1 – Visionary Communication: Hamideh Tareki

Level 2 – Motivational Strategies: Jeff Wilgus

Level 2 and 3 – Presentation Mastery: Judith Mugeni

We also celebrated a significant milestone:

Path Completion – Leadership Development by our VP of Education

Completing levels and entire paths in Pathways is no small achievement. Each milestone represents hours of preparation, speaking practice, feedback, and personal growth.

Welcoming New Members

The evening was made even more special as we welcomed two new members into our supportive community:

  • Ion Rotaru

  • Grace Guan

Joining Toastmasters is the first step in a journey toward becoming a more confident speaker and stronger leader. We are excited to support them as they begin their Toastmasters journey.

Growth in Action

Moments like these capture the spirit of Toastmasters: a supportive environment where members challenge themselves, celebrate one another’s successes, and continue growing together.

At NDG Leaders Toastmasters, every meeting offers an opportunity to learn, practice, and connect with others who are committed to personal and professional development.

Whether delivering speeches, taking on leadership roles, or cheering on fellow members, the journey is always rewarding and last night was a perfect example of growth in action.
